In 2012 we launched the first international project - 2GIS Padua (Italy). Since then, the number of international projects is gradually increasing.
Solving a simple task of internationalization and localization testing, we faced to a number of issues:
How to check the quality of internationalization of user interface quickly and as completely as possible?
Where should we take input data?
What should we do with automated tests?
How to support the rapid development of the multilingual web-service?
How to manage functional differences in certain locales and keep good velocity?
In my presentation I’m going to show which practices we have chosen to solve these problems in the course of testing of 2GIS Online multilingual user-interface.
